Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress is known for her role as the character Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama "Providence" and as Dr. Lane Hunter in the Medical drama "The Resident. In addition, she is famous for her role as detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama 'CSI: NY" and Dr. Lane Hunter at the medical drama 'The Resident.' She also received acclaim for her breakthrough television debut role in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show 'Guiding Light'.
